Santa Rosa National Park is one of Costa Rica’s most protected and ecologically significant areas, preserving vast tropical dry forests and pristine beaches. Because both Witches Rock and Ollie’s Point are within the national park, access is highly regulated, and certain rules apply:
Permits Required – A National Park Pass is mandatory for all visitors to Witches Rock and Ollie’s Point. This fee helps protect the delicate ecosystem of the park. The fee is $15 payable to Captain Jose prior to departure.
No Fishing Allowed – Fishing within the national park is strictly prohibited, but expert guides can take you to prime fishing grounds just outside park boundaries.
